NSW Nomination Allocation for Skilled Nominated Visa (SC190) Reached

As of now, New South Wales (NSW) has fulfilled its nomination allocation for the Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190) for the 2024-25 program year. This means that no more invitations will be issued for this visa subclass until the Australian government provides a new allocation in the new financial year (FY) for 2025-26

What Does This mean for Prospective SC190 Applicants?

  • With the current allocation exhausted, applicants hoping to receive an invitation from NSW for the SC 190 visa will need to wait until the next FY. This pause may affect those awaiting an invitation and those planning to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI)

  • Potential applicants are encouraged to prepare their documentation and ensure they meet all eligibility criteria while waiting for the next round of nominations.

  • During this period, prospective applicants may consider exploring other visa options to achieve their goals. If your EOI has been in the system for more than 1 year, it is recommended that you seek professional advice for an alternative visa pathway
