With a rich history dating as far back as 1975, Agape Henry Crux has grown from quite humble beginnings to build a reputation as an Australian law firm that fights to achieve the best outcomes for our clients. 1975
Wong Lim & Co. opened its doors in Ipoh, Malaysia, with Henry Lim and Tony Wong as managing partners. It specialised in property law, banking & corporate law, and civil litigation.
1985
The birth of Henry Lim & Co is a defining moment; Henry Lim departed Wong Lim & Co where it continues to dominate conveyancing & property transactions at the ending leg of the mining boom in Ipoh, Malaysia. Its first office at Greenfield is still open today, servicing the town of Ipoh.
1989
Henry Lim & Co opens it 2nd branch in Kuala Lumpur and secures Malaysia’s largest developers, mining resource companies & banks as clients.
1997
Henry Lim & Co begins its scholarship program for its staff; to complete an Australian Law degree at Bond University, Queensland.
1999
Henry Lim & Co opens it 3rd branch in Sungai Petani, servicing property developments in northern Malaysia.
2006
Maxim Legal begins trading as an incorporate legal practice in Sydney, Australia and opens its first office at World Square in Sydney, Australia.
2007
Jason Ling joins Maxim Legal where the law firm’s area of practice included civil litigation, property law, family law, wills & probate, criminal law and intellectual property. In that same year, Jason becomes an equity shareholder & Director of Maxim Legal.
2009
Agape Immigration begins trading as an immigration law company and opens its first office at Sussex St in Sydney, Australia.
2010
Agape Immigration merges with Maxim Legal with Jason Ling heading Agape & Maxim as the Managing Director. The corporate structure allowed Agape to continue providing immigration services while Maxim continued to provides legal services other than immigration law.
2012
Agape & Maxim moves to be closer to Administrative Appeals Tribunal at Clarence St. Sydney NSW 2000.
2014
Agape & Maxim takes over the former office of Minter Ellison at Martin Place, Sydney NSW 2000, the heart of Sydney’s legal precinct.
2015
Henry Lim & Co joins Agape Immigration in the birth of Agape Henry & Co with a penthouse-level office boasting close to a thousand square meters of uninterrupted 360 degrees view of Sydney’s skyline.
2017
Crux Migration begins trading as an immigration law firm and opens its first office in George St. Sydney, Australia. It is spearheaded by one of the 37 Accredited Specialists (Immigration Law) in New South Wales.
2018
Agape Henry & Co receives their own Accredited Specialists (Immigration Law).
2019
Agape Henry & Co, with 3 of the exclusive 42 Accredited Specialists (Immigration Law) in New South Wales, starts trading as Agape Henry Crux.
2020
Agape Henry Crux relocates to the centre of one of Sydney’s most dynamic, vibrant and creative precincts, 580 George Street.
