New South Wales nomination for business and investor visas
Australia’s Business Innovation and Investment program caters for business persons who:
Are owners (or part-owners) of a business (or businesses);
Are ventures capitalist entrepreneurs; or
Have a substantial business or investment background and are willing to invest in prescribed investments in Australia.
With the exception of the Business Talent (Migrant) visa (Subclass 132), all prospective business migration applicants are subject to a two-stage process arrangement whereby they must first apply for a 4 year provisional (or temporary) visa (subclass 188) and may then apply for permanent residence (subclass 888) after successfully commencing business or investment activity in Australia.
Nomination by a State or Territory government is a mandatory requirement for all Business Innovation and Investment visa application in Australia.
On 10 January 2019, NSW reopened applications for nomination under the Federal Government’s Business Innovation and Investment Program.

Business Talent (Permanent) visa (Subclass 132) – Venture Capital Entrepreneur Stream
