Demonstrate Partner Visa Four Pillars Document Checklist

When applying for a partner visa in Australia, it is essential to provide evidence covering the four pillars of a genuine relationship as guided by the Department of Home Affairs (DoHA). These pillars set a standard for your relationship when applying for a Partner visa (Subclass 820/801 (onshore) or Subclass 309/100 (offshore)).

Understanding Partner Visa's 4 Pillars

To ensure that the relationship is true and genuine, the Department requires that the couple satisfy all 4 pillars of a relationship to be eligible to apply for a Partner Visa. This ensures that the relationship is not a sham or a false marriage. Below is a list of documents for the 4 pillars that can serve as an example but are not exhaustive; you are encouraged to provide additional evidence that supports your relationship and meets the visa requirements.
