Permanent Residency Granted Through the Distinguished Talent Visa for a Performance Artist

I am an international travelling performance artist, dancer and DJ. A classic One-person-show doing events, parties, activations, theatre plays, installations and other artistic interventions. When I first set foot on Australian soil in 2009 I knew I want to live there. For years I returned, playing hundreds of gigs and building a reputation and a little legend. My wish to stay permanently grew strong and stronger, but I didn't see a way to achieve it. Until I met Jason and the wonderful people from Agape Henry Crux and we started what I haven't dared to take on alone. Jason explained the Visa structure of Australia and we identified the most suitable one: The Distinguished Talents Visa (subclass 585). They immediately advised me, that it is the rarest of them all - like a unicorn in the fairy-woods. They estimated a 2-5% chance for me to get it granted and up to 5 years for the whole process. But we all felt adventurous, I managed to raise the needed funds and we put in the application. I will spare you the heart- and headache over request letters and questions over questions. But having Agape and their amazing team by my side gave me the security to continue and sail the wild sea. And as of now, against the many, many, many, many, many odds I got it granted. I can now call myself a permanent resident of Australia! My thanks go out to Jason and the team (especially: Davin and Ko Ko). I am convinced, that this would have never been possible without the help of Agape Henry Crux. I LOVE YOU! You are simply the Best.
